What’s Hot In Streetwear This Season?

High Street Fashion Trends is constantly changing like the fashion itself. All love high street fashion, and most understand the importance of keeping up to date with what’s on the catwalk but what about when it all comes to buying the clothes? With so many different brands and styles on offer, it can be difficult to know where to begin. However, with so many factors at play, you should always try to consider the three main factors: quality, price and ease of care or return. Let’s take a look at these and see why you shouldn’t always opt for the lowest price when buying your next pair of clothing.

When it comes to quality, denim is still the king of the high street, but recently some fashion purists have questioned whether it is too “easy to wear”. Whilst some would argue that the old rules of thumb when buying denim are still valid, it is becoming more apparent that it is possible to achieve great results when using a combination of two or three different materials. This summer we have seen an upsurge in the use of denim combined with leather, which has seen the introduction of denim trousers, jackets, dresses and even denim skirts and maxi dress. In fact, some high street fashion labels such as House of Holland have even released clothing consisting of a mix of different materials.

Price really shouldn’t be a consideration when choosing a new outfit. Whilst it is true that on some level fashion is about price, it is important not to get carried away with this and allow yourself to be swayed by the “cheap” look that many retailers promote. When it comes to buying your clothes, remember that you get what you pay for. For example, a denim skirt may look amazing, but if you have no other choice but to buy a cheaper version online, don’t do it! Remember, spending hundreds on something that will make you look and feel great is a pointless way of spending your money. Always keep in mind that fashion trends are always changing, so if you follow the shopping malls in January, you could be surprised by what happens in February!
